SPARK Hollywood contestants who were selected as finalists, will pitch their ideas to investors and innovators during the upcoming SPARK Hollywood Pitch Competition.Contestants will give a three-minute presentation of their innovative business proposal to a panel of judges comprised of local investors, business professionals and compete for cash.

This workshop will address SBA Disaster Recovery programs like the various loans available for physical and economic damage after a catastrophe. If you are interested in pursuing federal contracts, the SAM.gov Disaster Registry is a database your company needs to be listed under. The presenter will explain how emergency contracting takes place, will address some of the provision of the Stafford Act to protect impacted area small businesses, and will highlight some of the federal agencies that make use of contractors to fulfill their disaster recovery mission: FEMA, US Army Corps of Engineers, and others.
