Broward Commuter Rail Kick-Off Meetings
In-Person and Virtual Options Offered
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four and Broward County are performing a PD&E Study for the Broward Commuter Rail (BCR) along the Florida East Coast (FEC) Railway from Aventura in Miami-Dade County to Deerfield Beach in Broward County.
The objective of the BCR PD&E Study is to develop and analyze alternatives that integrate passenger and freight service along the FEC Railway. The purpose of the study is to address congestion issues by improving mobility while supporting economic policies, as well as land development policies, in eastern Broward County.
The public is encouraged to attend one of the virtual or in-person meetings to learn more about the study. Additional project and study details can be found here.
