Update on Tropical Storm Eta

The Tropical Storm Warning has been discontinued for all of the Florida peninsula, however a coastal flood advisory remains in effect. Flood waters will continue to recede as Eta continues to move away from our area. Please avoid driving down flooded streets.
Sanitation Collection Services Will Resume Tuesday, November 10th
All solid waste services were cancelled for Monday, November 9th. Garbage, Recycling, and Yard Waste collections resume on a normal collection schedule on Tuesday, November 10th, For those with a monthly bulk collection in the "2nd Monday of the Month" zone, your bulk will now be collected on Monday, November 30th.
Parking Fees Waived for Hollywood Residents at City-Operated Garages
Parking fees were waived for Hollywood residents on a first come, first served basis at all City-operated parking garages from noon on Sunday, November 8th until noon on Tuesday, November 10th. All vehicles must be properly parked in a marked parking space. Regular parking fees will resume at noon on Tuesday, November 10th. Residents must remove their vehicles by this time in order to avoid incurring standard parking rate charges. No exceptions.
Motorists are reminded to use caution, avoid traveling on flooded streets and to not drive around barricades. Health officials are also reminding the public to avoid wading through standing water and to prohibit children from play in flooded streets.
Staff has completed Rapid Impact Assessments and crews and equipment are being deployed to assist with recovery efforts.
