SPARK Hollywood - Launch Event

The Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and our Office of Communications, Marketing and Economic Development are planning this year’s SPARK Hollywood events, designed to support and grow entrepreneurship in our City. The official launch event will take place on Thursday, September 17th from 2:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. via ZOOM.

This year, the SPARK Committee has teamed up with the new Center of Innovation created by Nova Southeastern University and Broward County at NSU. The launch event will be moderated by the Center’s Executive Director, John Wensveen, who has put together an exciting panel of inspiring entrepreneurs, including:
  • David Ponraj, Founder and CEO of StartUp Space, a 24/7 platform connecting entrepreneurs with local resources to get their ideas off the ground.
  • Andrew Koenig, President of City Furniture - Andrew has adapted City Furniture’s business model and pioneered new retail trends that helped fuel statewide growth of the company.
  • Manish Hirapara, CEO of Peak Activity, an integrated suite of services to startups and established businesses to help them maximize their success.
