[ARCHIVED] Public Access Suspended at City Hall & Select City Facilities

City-Hall-Drive-Thru-Open

Effective Monday, July 20th, public access to City Hall and City buildings located on the City Hall Circle campus, minus the Broward County Library – Hollywood Branch, is suspended. The drive through window located on the north side of City Hall remains open to customers for the payment of bills and fees. Normal business hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Fred Lippman Multi-Purpose Community Center, Hollywood Beach Culture and Community Center, and the David Park Community Center are closed. The following community centers will remain open solely to operate the Summer BreakSpot Program. No other activities will take place at these centers.

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center
  • Kay Gaither Community Center
  • Washington Park Community Center
  • McNichol Community Center

The Driftwood Community Pool remains open for small group classes and lap swimming, ArtsPark at Young Circle remains open for Art & Culture Center/Hollywood summer programming and City-operated parks and sports fields remain open to the public. For more information on operating hours, please call the locations directly.

The closures are in response to the upward trend in positive COVID-19 cases in South Florida and are an effort to help stop community spread. Residents can access a number of services online or by calling the appropriate City Department, Office or Agency listed below:
