Eastbound Johnson Street just west of Dixie Highway will be closed at the FEC/Brightline railroad crossing on Monday, March 2nd through Friday, March 13th. The closure is necessary to allow contractors to install a new water main line underneath the tracks. The westbound lane will remain open and unaffected and access to the adjacent properties on the south side of Johnson Street will be maintained. Pedestrian sidewalks will also remain unaffected during construction. Eastbound motorist should seek an alternate route to avoid delays. Eastbound traffic will be detoured northbound on N 22st Avenue to eastbound Garfield Street.
