In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, governmental offices, City Hall, and Administrative Offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th.
Garbage and Recycling Services:
Garbage and recycling collections will take place according to the normal operating schedule. Please remember to place your carts out for pick-up the night before a collection or earlier than 6:30 a.m. on collection day.
Recreation:
City-operated Community Centers, Shuffleboard Center, ArtsPark at Young Circle Gallery, Rotary Park Batting Cages and the Driftwood Community Pool will be closed on Thursday, November 28th. All City-operated passive parks will be unlocked and open to the public on Thanksgiving Day. Community Centers will remain closed on Friday, November 29th except for the Fred Lippman Bridge Program, which will take place as scheduled. All recreational programming will resume according to the normal programming schedule on Saturday, November 30th.
Hollywood Marina:
As a reminder, the public boat launch is currently closed for construction. The Hollywood Marina offers laundry facilities, showers, restrooms, lounge area, and Free WiFi. The fuel dock is open from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. seven days a week. The Marina is located at 700 Polk Street, at latitude 26.00.10 north, longitude 80.07.00 west at Statute Mile 1072 on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway Association (ICW), 200 yards north of the Hollywood Boulevard bridge.
