Construction is underway along NE 19th Avenue in the Royal Poinciana Neighborhood for the $22.8 million dollar water and sewer replacement project. As part of this project, periodic road closures are necessary to allow for crews from the City’s contractor, Lanzo Construction Company, to work.
Construction crews will be working on NE 19th Avenue from just north of Buchanan Street to north of Johnson Street on Friday, September 27th and again on Monday, September 30th through Wednesday, October 2nd from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
All east/west traffic on Johnson Street and Lincoln Street will be detoured around the construction area via NE 20th Avenue, Grant Street, Federal Highway and Buchanan Street when workers are present.
Intersections are anticipated to be open this weekend and during the overnight hours. Motorist should seek an alternate route to avoid possible delays.
