City Hall and Administrative Offices will be open on Monday, December 31st from 7:00 a.m. until noon. In observance of the New Year's holiday, governmental offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 1st.
Garbage and Recycling Services: Garbage and recycling collections will take place on Tuesday, January 1st according to the normal operating schedule. Please remember to place your carts out for pick-up the night before a collection or earlier than 6:30 a.m. on collection day.
Recreation: On Monday, December 31st there will be no Food Truck event at ArtsPark at Young Circle, and the Driftwood Community Pool and ArtsPark Gallery will be closed. City-operated Community Centers, Shuffleboard Center, ArtsPark at Young Circle Gallery and the Driftwood Community Pool will be closed on Tuesday, January 1st. All City-operated passive parks will be unlocked and open to the public on New Year’s Day. Recreational programming will resume according to the normal programming schedule on Wednesday, January 2nd.
Hollywood Marina: The Hollywood Marina, dock and fuel filling station and will be open for business through the holidays. The Marina offers laundry facilities, showers, restrooms, lounge area, Free WiFi, launch ramps and customer service 24 hours a day. The fuel dock is open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. seven days a week. The Marina is located at 700 Polk Street, at latitude 26.00.10 north, longitude 80.07.00 west at Statute Mile 1072 on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway Association (ICW), 200 yards north of the Hollywood Boulevard bridge. Building Inspections: Building inspections will take place on Monday, December 31st from 7:00 a.m. until noon. Due to the holiday, if you are unable to accommodate a Monday morning inspection, please email bldgpermit@hollywoodfl.org to reschedule your inspection. If you are contacting the Building Department on Thursday, December 27th through Sunday, December 30th to schedule an inspection, please keep in mind your inspection may be scheduled for Monday, December 31st between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and noon.
