A water main break occurred on Wednesday, December 12th on A1A just north of Sheridan Street resulting in a loss of pressure prompting a precautionary boil water advisory for water customers in the following area.
• A1A north of Sheridan Street up to and including the Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park.
After 2 days of bacteriological testing, all tests show that the water is safe to use for drinking and cooking. It is no longer necessary to boil your water. The Department of Public Utilities apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks you for your patience.
