On April 18, 2018 the Department of Public Utilities held a City Commission workshop regarding the ongoing Septic to Sewer Conversion and Water Main Replacement Projects underway in Hollywood. At that workshop a 10 year and 20 year city-wide plan was presented to the Commission, who then directed staff to pursue the 10 year "Full Sewer Expansion & Original Water Main Replacement" plan. All are encouraged to view the video from the workshop and the PDF file of the presentation to become familiar with the project scope.
Septic to sewer conversions and water main replacement projects are currently underway in Hollywood, this workshop contained information regarding the expansion to include areas of the city currently unsewered and/or without updated water lines.
