[ARCHIVED] Red Shirt Parking Ambassadors Deployed in Downtown Hollywood During Holidays

Red Shirt Parking Ambassadors

Red Shirt Parking Ambassadors are out and about in downtown Hollywood assisting visitors with the new on-street parking meters and spreading the word about the convenient Parkmobile App. While the meters may be familiar to most, the parking ambassadors are there to make customers feel welcome and answer any questions they may have about how to use the meters.
The Red Shirt Parking Ambassadors are available to assist customers in downtown Hollywood Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through the holiday season. You can find an ambassador, you guessed it, wearing a red shirts with an SP+ Parking insignia. Flag one down, they are there to help you.
The return of on-street metered parking in Downtown Hollywood is an effort to increase parking turnover and improve the availability of convenient on-street parking for customers. The cost to park at one of over 500 metered on-street spaces is $1.50 per hour, while the parking fee at both downtown garages is $1.00 per hour. The on-street parking meters accept coins, bills, credit cards and Parkmobile App payments.
