You're invited to participate in a community planning session on Saturday, December 2nd from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Fred Lippman Multi-Purpose Center, 2030 Polk Street in Hollywood. The workshop will being at 9:00 a.m. with opening presentation followed by an interactive process.
The Tri-Rail Coastal Link is a proposed commuter train system connecting eastern coastal cities from Miami to Jupiter utilizing existing Florida East Coast (FEC) rail tracks. Please join the City of Hollywood, Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC), and the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) in creating a master plan for a proposed station and the surrounding area around the FEC tracks. The TCRPC will assist the City, CRA, and SFRTA in coordinating the public’s involvement throughout the process.
Residents, business owners and community stakeholders are invited to take part in this this exciting, strategic investment in our community! Participants will view area maps and plans and add their input for inclusion in the Station Area Master Plan. Please let your neighbors know about this opportunity to help shape Hollywood’s future.

As part of the planning, and in addition to the Public Design Workshop, the public will have an opportunity add additional input at the weeklong Open Design Studio taking place December 3rd through 8th at the Hollywood Shuffleboard Courts, located on N 21st Avenue between Polk Street and Taylor Street from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. A “Work in Progress Presentation” will then take place on Monday, December 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at City Hall, room 219.
