In partnership with Waste Pro USA, the City of Hollywood collects garbage twice per week and recycling once a week. All collections begins at 7:00 a.m. except in the Beach District which begins at 8:00 a.m. Garbage containers can be placed out the night before a collection or earlier than 6:30 a.m. on your collection day. In preparation for the return of regular weekly alleyway collections for commingled materials, all Hurricane Irma storm-related debris must be placed curbside by Sunday, November 12th. Regular, weekly commingled collection service in alleyways is anticipated to resume in the very near future.
