The City of Hollywood African American Advisory Council invites high school students to participate in the poetry/spoken word Open Mic Night at Hollywood City Hall on Wednesday, February 8th and again on February, 22nd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to write their poems based on the topic of "EDUCATION". Students should be prepared to recite their poem during the events. First place winners will receive a "Kindle Tablet" courtesy of Liberia Economic and Social Development and AT&T Pioneers.
