[ARCHIVED] Events/Services Impacted due to Hurricane Matthew

All City Parks and Recreation Community Centers will be closed by 6 p.m. today and will remain closed Thursday and Friday.

The City Marina will close at 6 p.m. tonight.

City Hall and other City Administrative offices will be close at 3 p.m. today and remain closed through Thursday.

Garbage/ Commingled/ Recycling collections will not take place tomorrow (Thursday) due to the storm, but will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.

Several events originally slated for this weekend have been cancelled due to preparations for and the possible impacts from Hurricane Matthew. Operation Paintbrush, the City’s re-blended paint giveaway which provides free exterior paint to homeowners in Hollywood, has been rescheduled for Saturday November 12. The monthly Beach Sweep Clean Up normally held on the 2nd Saturday of the month, will not take place this month and will resume on Saturday, November 12th. Additionally, the Italian Festival slated for the ArtsPark at Young Circle, has been cancelled.
