The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) notifies the City of Hollywood of new and/or ongoing projects taking place in Hollywood. Occasionally notifications include a flyer describing the project, the areas directly affected and the impact construction will have on vehicular traffic.
US-441/State Road 7 Roadway Improvement Project
Construction first began in the spring of 2014 in the area of Southwest 25th Street north to Fillmore Street. The second segment began in the winter of 2015, from Fillmore Street north to Stirling Road.

Stirling Road Improvement Project
2.5 miles of roadway improvements along Stirling Road from east of US 441/SR 7 to east of University Drive began on February 20, 2017 and is expected to be completed by early 2018.
