Research shows that well-nourished children are healthier, more attentive, and have better mental performance than undernourished children. The Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Afterschool Supper Program provides nutritious meals and snacks to all children participating in Hollywood's Aftercare Program. The program has expanded to include Driftwood Middle School in Hollywood now.
The Supper Program ensures more than 9,000 students participating in regularly scheduled afterschool educational or enrichment activity programs receive the nutrition they need to learn and grow. The suppers are funded through the federal Child Care Food Program, which provides healthy meals in the childcare setting. Meals meet all USDA requirements and are made available at no additional charge to students participating in afterschool programs, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. The meal program is funded by a federal grant from the United States Department of Health. Afterschool Supper Program participating schools include:

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
