The Hollywood Housing Authority announces the opening of the wait list for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, the public housing program for the elderly (62 years of age and older), and the public housing programs for families.
Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program wait list- will open 9:00 A.M and 4:00 P.M. beginning on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, and will be continued on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, or until the 500 names are reached. Public housing program for the elderly (62 years of age and older) wait list- will open 9:00 A.M and 4:00 P.M. beginning on Thursday, September 21, 2023, until the 100 names are reached. Public housing programs for families wait list- will open 9:00 A.M and 4:00 P.M. beginning on Friday, September 22, 2023, until the 50 names are reached. Do NOT Call before September 22, 2023. Preferences:
1. Persons who reside or are employed within the City of Hollywood, will be given a preference for each of the programs.
2. Families who have been successfully participating in for the last 180 days or have graduated from an approved Hollywood transitional family housing program within the last 2 years will be given a second preference. ONLY for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program.

The City is not affiliated with the administration of the Hollywood Housing Authority programs or wait lists and has no additional information.
