Over the past several years, the City has been focused on providing additional public transportation choices for residents and visitors alike. Beginning Friday, September 1st the City, in partnership with the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency, and Circuit Transit, Inc., will offer "on-demand" shuttle service from select areas west of I-95. Riders will be able to request a ride from designated locations in the western portion of the City to popular spots like local grocery stores and community centers, our historic downtown and the world-famous Hollywood Beach. The cost is $2 per rider per zone ride, service hours vary by zone.
Visit the dedicated website to learn more about the expanded service areas, how to request a ride and more.
A 6-month pilot program to test ridership for a fixed stop weekend shuttle service is also launching September 1st. The weekend shuttle will operate on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 7pm and will take riders from designated Community Centers in the western portion of the City to designated stops within the Historic Downtown and Beach. Riders must be reserved seating in advance as space is limited.
Visit the Sun-Shuttle website for additional Hollywood route information.
