Construction Alert

North 26th Avenue (Taft to Sheridan) Resurfacing Project Set to Begin December 5th

Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, December 5th along North 26th Avenue between Taft Street and Sheridan Street.

This construction project includes swale restoration, milling and resurfacing of the existing road, new pavement markings, and sidewalk replacement within the project boundaries. The works is scheduled to take approximately 60 days to complete, pending weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Access to private property will be maintained, however driveway access will be limited following a concrete pour to allow for the concrete to cure. In order to accommodate the inconvenience, temporary parking in the swale area adjacent to private property will be allowed while driveway access is temporarily closed. Closures are not expected to last longer than 48 hours.
