Full Roadway Closures Planned for S. 52nd Ave just south of Washington Street  

Portions of S. 52nd Ave. just south of Washington Street and the roundabout that was constructed on Hillcrest Drive and its intersection with Parkview Drive will be closing fully while drainage and paving work is being done. Work will be done in a phased approach with an anticipated roadway closure schedule as follows:

Please note: this schedule does not include the removal and replacement of the concrete driveways, sidewalk installations, curb installations, milling and resurfacing of the intersection or pavement striping and signage. Motorist should seek an alternate route around full roadway closures to avoid delays. Flagmen and detours will be in place to re-route traffic around the construction zone. 

Temporary Road Closure at Connecticut Street in area of N. Surf Road

  
Connecticut Street and the sidewalk just to the east of the entrance to the City-operated parking garage will be closed from Monday, July 25th through Thursday, July 28th. The closure will allow for the City’s vendor, A-1 Tropic Painting & Waterproofing, to work in the area. The sidewalk on the north side of Connecticut Street will remain open to pedestrians. The entrance to the public parking garage, as well as private driveways will remain open and accessible. Motorists should seek an alternate route to avoid possible delays.   

Partial Overnight Lane Closure on US1 at Young Circle for Overhead Sign Replacement

An overhead sign will be replaced on US1 at the northeast side of Young Circle. During the overnight hours from 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13th through 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 14th, northbound lanes will be partially closed to allow for equipment and crews to perform the associated work. Motorist will be directed around the workers to northbound US 1.
