Homeowner’s who meet the income, property and/or location requirements may be eligible to participate in one or both programs listed below.
Neighborhood Pride Housing Rehabilitation Program- provides assistance for Exterior Improvements only and is administered as a Conditional Grant requiring the beneficiary to maintain the home as a principal residence for a period of not less than 10 years.
Examples of eligible repairs as part of the Neighborhood Pride Program include:
• Roof, fascia/soffit
• Gutters
• Impact-resistant windows or shutter system
• Doors (including garage door)
• Driveway
• Fence
• Public sidewalk & private walkway
• Irrigation system
• Landscaping (sod, tree trimming, tree removal, and tree installation)
• Security lighting
Eligibility:
You may qualify for assistance, if you own and occupy your home located within the eligible low-to-moderate income areas of the City of Hollywood and meet the income requirements identified on the Community Development Division web page.
Federal and State Funded Housing Rehabilitation Program- provides assistance for Interior and Exterior Improvements and is administered as a zero percent interest 30-year, deferred payment loan with a refinancing option for the same terms and conditions, requiring the beneficiary to maintain the home as a principal residence for the term of the loan.
Examples of eligible repairs as part of the Federal and State funded Housing Rehabilitation Program include:
- Exterior – roof, windows, doors, paint, driveway, fence, fascia/soffit, gutters, ADA access, more.
- Interior – electrical, water heater, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, ADA access, more.
Eligibility:
You may qualify for assistance, if you own and occupy your home located within the incorporated city limits of the City of Hollywood and meet the income requirements identified on the Community Development Division web page.
