From roadside tents to empty store fronts, testing and vaccination sites are popping up across South Florida. Residents are urged to use caution as many of these locations are charging money for testing, not returning results, or are requiring credit card and social security numbers. They may also be charging service fees.
Residents are encouraged to use sites hosted by Broward County or a municipality, hospitals, or urgent care clinics for COVID-19 testing and vaccinations. These sites are staffed with licensed personnel who can provide expert admissions of testing and vaccinations. They also are guaranteed to provide your results as quickly as possible, at no cost to you. If you have any questions, you should consult your primary care physician.
