Afro Roots Fest is happening on Saturday, May 21^st beginning at 4:00 p.m. at teh ArtsPark at Young Circle in downtown Hollywood. The event is a FREE, all-ages internationally-flavored music festival featuring Jesus Hidalgo (Venezuela), Philip Montalban (Nicaragua), Gilmar Gomes, (Brazil), The Resolvers (US), Miamibloco (Miami/Brazil), and DJ Le Spam (Miami). Afro Roots Fest, making its debut in Broward County, is presented by the non-profit Community Arts & Culture, which has presented this world music concert series throughout Florida for 24 seasons.
