Employee Assistance Program
- The City of Hollywood offers a work/life assistance program to help City of Hollywood employees and their families balance their work and personal lives. This program offers a wide range of services and support, such as counseling for personal stress and family problems. It also provides many other services, like referrals for child and adult care – even pet care. These services are available specifically to City of Hollywood employees and their families by simply calling the program at 800.833.8707 - 24 hours/7 days per week. The program representatives will assess your needs and recommend next steps if any, so that you or your family member can make informed choices.
The City contracts with CCA, Inc. to provide this program. Access to this benefit is available at no cost to any City of Hollywood employee and is completely confidential. You and your family can speak with a representative, access the information and use the services without paying any fees. (If a referral is required outside of the program for specialized assistance or long-term consultation, your City of Hollywood Health Insurance will kick in to cover shared costs, if applicable.)
CCA has a website which contains hundreds of educational articles, useful tips and Internet resources for:
• Child and Adult Care
• Health and Wellness
• Emotional Well Being
• Personal Services
To access the website, go to www.myccaonline.com and enter the City's code. The CCA's City of Hollywood code, 2022 online seminar calendar, and flyers can be found on Our Hollywood, under the Office of Human Resources tab or by contacting the Office of Human Resources at 954.921.3216.
The Work/Life Assistance Program is designed to help you in your personal and professional life. It is also designed to help your family members. So, if you or a member of your family is struggling with a private issue, whether it is trying to find living arrangements for an aging relative, learning about adopting a child, or looking for pet care while the family is away on vacation, the Work/Life Assistance Program offers extensive support so that you can get help and make informed choices.
Please be sure to take advantage of this valuable benefit and don't hesitate to call 800.833.8707 at any time.
