Gateway and Neighborhood Signage Project

As part of the 2019 voter-approved General Obligation Bond, $897,450 dollars was approved to pay for improvements to 64 existing gateway and neighborhood monument signs throughout the City. Following a detailed inventory and engineering assessment of existing signage, which determined 66 signs, City staff from Design and Construction Management and the Office of Communications, Marketing and Economic Development have been collaborating with Architecture Landscape and Urban Designers Brooks + Scarpa on the redesign of the signs.

Multiple community meetings have been held, and residents have offered their design preferences. The final design choices will be shared in an upcoming City Commission meeting.
