Driftwood Elementary School Pre K - Grade 5 Principal’s message: We are thrilled to have our children back on campus after a challenging year with online learning. Our staff and students have persevered. This year we have received grant funds to offer additional staff to work with any students that are struggling academically. In addition, we have camps taking place after school to assist those students in need of reinforcement. Our teachers and staff rise to the everyday challenge of meeting the needs of our diverse students and families. Therefore, a camp for our English Language Learners will also be taking place later this year. We encourage our learning community to join our Parent Teacher Association and attend our School Advisory Council meetings to take part in decisions about the school and provide input. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the school office at 754-323-5450. - Christine Ringler, Principal

West Hollywood Elementary School Pre K - Grade 5 Principal’s Message: Greetings! I’m so excited to welcome all my scholars back to 100% face to face instruction. Last year taught us many lessons, one of those lessons was resilience. Our scholars and educators quickly adapted to the many changes they experienced last year. I'm so proud of them.
I know that this year brings new challenges, but I'm confident in the ability of our students, faculty, staff and community partners. I hope to continue our partnership in ensuring our students have a successful school year. It is a privilege and an honor to serve community. As always, I am here to serve you and your children. - Lina Palacios, Principal School Narrative: West Hollywood Elementary School (WHE) provides the opportunity and means for all students to achieve their maximum academic potential and develop social and life skills necessary to become engaged, global citizens. WHE delivers innovative hands-on learning to help ripen thinking and problem solving skills to foster life-long learners. West Hollywood Elementary has fostered key partnerships in the community with United Way Reading Pals, The Local Church, The Hollywood Women’s Club, The School Mobile Food Pantry, and Hispanic Unity to deliver wrap around care for our families that ranges from reading, parental classes, clothing and food banks. WHE further provides extracurricular clubs to help students grow in their talent and service, such as Choir, Performing Arts, Mathletes, and Safety Patrol.
