Digital Friday

Digital Friday

Last fall the City launched the ePermit Building Permit Service that allowed residents, contractors and tradesmen the ability to submit more than 20 different building permits and forms electronically for review. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the ePermit Program, and in a continuing effort to better serve customers, Development Services then expanded service hours when they launched the “Digital Friday” Permit Service Pilot Program.

Since the launch of the this pilot program, staff has been conducting ePermit reviews each Friday at City Hall. Contractors and residents who have taken advantage of this additional service day have been pleased to find their ePermits are approved more quickly, and in some cases, have resulted in their permits being issued on the same day as their submittal.
