What happens if I mix my bulk waste and yard waste together for collection?
  • The code states that you may not mix bulk waste and yard waste together for collection.
  • If you do then a code officer will notify you that you are in violation of the code.
  • You will have 24 hours to remove it from the curb or arrange to have it picked up.
  • You can arrange this pick up through the city or you may contract with a licensed hauler allowed to work within the city.
  • If neither of these two arrangements are made the City will arrange pick up and you will be charged the disposal fee plus a $200 administration fee

  • If this is activity is repeated then a civil citation will also be incurred.

    1st Offense:
    $75
    2nd  Offense:
    $150
    3rd Offense:
    $250
    4th Offense:
    $500 to be repeated for every offense there after
