City leaders continue to monitor the scientific/medical data related to COVID-19 in our region. Provided compliance with social distancing, capacity restrictions and other CDC guidelines are observed at City-operated parks and recreational facilities, additional openings are planned. Those visiting parks and recreational facilities must follow the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Florida Department of Health, adhering to physical distancing of six feet minimum, wear facial covering when six feet between persons cannot be maintained and when using restrooms, elevators and concessions, have a facial covering available to show upon request by local authorities, do not gather in groups of more than 10 individuals. Park and Facility Patrons shall not enter a park or recreational facility if they have COVID 19 symptoms or been exposed within the past 14 days. No group gatherings or events at this time. Please bring your own water for yourself and your pets, water fountains are not available at this time.

Effective today, Monday, June 15, 2020 the following fields have reopened. Organized sports are permitted so long as the activity is part of an established athletic league or part of and organized program. League or program must provide health guidelines to department prior to use. Permits are required.

Summer Camps
Participants will be required to follow these guidelines:
- Shall not enter a recreational facility if they have COVID 19 symptoms or been exposed within the past 14 days
- Agree to temperature check prior to entering the facility
- Personal items will be discouraged, any medical or therapeutic items will be disinfected prior to entry
- Camps are designed to a 1 instructor to 9 camper ratios.
- Campers will stay in the same cohort groups each day
- Parents should discuss good hygiene practices with campers prior to attending
- Care has been taken to ensure campers have their own personal supplies for the duration of the camp
- No field trips at this time
- Additional sanitation procedures have been added to ensure a clean and safe environment based on national, state and local health agencies guidance

Hollywood Marina - 700 Polk Street
Boat Ramps open to motor-powered craft only. One boat on a ramp at a time. Marina Boat Ramp returned to normal hours of operation, 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. as of Wednesday, May 27th.
Holland Park - 801 Johnson Street
Boat ramps open for normal operations. Observation Tower is now open. Please follow physical distancing requirements.
Ramp hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Once the parking area reach capacity, the ramps will be closed.)
Golf Courses
- Golf courses at Hollywood Beach Golf Club, Eco Golf Club and Orangebrook Golf Club are open for play with restrictions. View restrictions by clicking here.
- The Driving Range at Orangebrook is open with limited capacity and physical distancing rules in place. Hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. On Sunday and Wednesday the hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Community Garden
The Community Garden at Oak Lake requires anyone working in the garden to wear a mask.
ArtsPark Studio
No tours, lessons or private engagements at this time.
As of Monday, June 15, 2020 the ArtsPark Artist in Residence will be accepting individual and groups of less than 10 for classes and instruction.

Hollywood Broadwalk
- The Broadwalk is open for exercising including walking, jogging and bike riding. The 6-9 a.m. limit has been discontinued as of 5/18/20
- The Broadwalk is also open to access and patronize restaurants/food establishments and retailers
- No rollerblading, skating or skateboarding
- No loitering or sitting on the wall.
- Social distancing of at least 6 feet between individuals is requred
- No groups larger than 10 people
- Facial coverings must be worn when at least 6 feet social distancing cannot be maintained and when patronizing retail businesses
- Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. to Mondays at 5:00 a.m. bike riding will be prohibited on the Broadwalk from Harrison Street to Carolina Street to allow for Temporary Café Zone
- The sandy beach remains closed at this time
Skate Parks

Hollywood Dog Beach
Hollywood Dog Beach is now open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All users must have daily or six month pass. Patrons must follow physical distancing when in park. Facial coverings are recommended. Please bring your own water as water fountains are closed. Permits can be purchased at Dog Beach only during operations hours at this time. Credit cards only. Hollywood Dog Beach is located between Pershing and Custer Streets on Hollywood Beach.
Driftwood Community Pool
The Driftwood Community Pool, located at 3000 N 69th Avenue is now open for lap swimming and limited private swim lessons.
- Only courses where instructor can teach outside of the water or maintain 6 ft. physical distance.
- Participants only inside facility.
- Professional courses CPR, AED, Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor.
- NO OPEN SWIM at this time.
- Physical distancing required at all times.
- Facial coverings must be worn outside of water.
- Temperature check for employees and patrons required before entry into facility.

Pavilion Rentals
Pavilion rentals are now available for only parties less than 10. Pavilions must be rented in advance, no walk up rentals allowed. Visitors must adhere to physical distancing and must wear facial cover when within 6 feet of another person. Venues will be limited to 1 rental per day. Only pavilions listed below are available for rental. Rental times are 4 hours maximum. All other pavilions remain closed at this time. Please call 954-921-3404 to reserve a pavilion.

City of Hollywood Public Works crews unlock and sanitizes with 70% alcohol each morning. Between 11:00 a.m. and noon crews clean and sanitize again. In the afternoon the Community Redevelopment Agency third party vendor cleans every hour. They are also taking extra measures to sanitize each facility. The facilities are cleaned one last time before the doors are locked for the evening. The crews start that final cleaning and closing process at 9:00 p.m.
