Did you know you could be rewarded for recycling, picking up litter, or using reusable shopping bags? In honor of Earth Day, City of Hollywood Department of Public Works will be rewarding residents who are actively seen practicing waste reduction and recycling in Hollywood April 10th through April 21st.
When staff catches you doing the right thing, they will issue you a certificate honoring your commitment to the environment and provide information on where and when to redeem your certificate for eco-friendly prizes such as gift cards, smart power strip, and Florida native plants.
If you have not been "Seen Being Green" by staff, you can self-report your eco-friendly activities by posting a photo of yourself in action to the City’s Twitter (@cohgov) account or Facebook (@CityOfHollywoodFL) page.
