The FDOT widening of I-95 over Johnson Street began on Wednesday, August 2nd and is expected to be completed by December 29, 2023. Nighttime construction may require a full closure of Johnson Street. These activities will typically be done Sunday Night through Friday Nights 10pm to 6am, with occasional Saturday Night activities form 10pm to 6:00am. Vehicle traffic will be detoured around the closure via N 26 Ave and N Park Road to Taft Street. FDOT crews will do everything possible to minimize noise from this construction zone.
