N. 22nd Avenue between Johnson Street and Sheridan Street
Contractors for Florida Power and Light, Concurrent, is closing N. 22nd Avenue at numerous locations in order to install new concrete poles in conjunction with their Citywide hardening project. The closures along N. 22nd Avenue will begin on Wednesday, October 27th and will continue for approximately two months. Various streets and alleys adjacent to the corridor where closures will be implemented will also be impacted. Please click here to see the impacted areas. Washington Street & Dewey Street Lane Closures
The eastbound lanes of Washington Street, immediately west of S. Dixie Highway will be closed to perform work for a new development (StorAll) in the southwest corner of the intersection. There is also going to be a closure of the westbound lane on Dewey Street at its intersection with S. Dixie Highway. The work is currently scheduled to be performed beginning on Friday, October 22nd and is expected to be completed by Tuesday, October 26th.
