The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Four, will conduct a public meeting regarding the proposed improvements along SR 824/Pembroke Road from east of Oleander Drive to east of South 61st Avenue. The public meeting will be held in two formats: virtual and in-person, simultaneously, and will include a presentation and open discussion. Attendees can ask questions and/or make comments via the chat function or in-person. 
 

PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS

• Resurface and restripe roadway pavement
• Upgrade curb ramps to meet current standards
• Upgrade signs and pavement markings
• Upgrade existing signals at intersections
• Upgrade signalized intersection lighting with Light Emitting Diode (LED) luminaires
• Minor drainage improvements

CONSTRUCTION IMPACTS

• Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community
• Temporary lane closures will be done during non-peak hours on non-event days
• Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times

CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION
 • Construction Start Date: October 2023
 • Anticipated Completion: Fall 2025
 • Construction Cost Estimate: $3.4 million
