Broward County is hosting a household hazardous waste and electronics recycling drop-off event in the southwest quadrant of City Hall, 2600 Hollywood Boulevard for Hollywood residents on Sunday, April 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Residents must provide proof of Hollywood residency, which may include a driver’s license, utility bill or tax bill for participation. Celebrate Spring and Swing Under the Stars!
The Big Swing is perhaps the largest gathering of the swing dance community in South Florida! All are invited, from beginners to professionals, to have a grand old time in the beautiful Hollywood ArtsPark. For the very first time on the same stage will be two of South Florida’s most popular swing bands: The French Horn Collective and The Swing All Stars. Your host for the evening will be World Champion Swing Dancer Yuval Hod, who will lead dance lessons and demonstrations along with dancers from Swing Out South Florida and All Swing Miami. Also enjoy a pin up contest and classic car by Pin-up Miami, vintage photo booth, food trucks and more.
