Financial Services

The Financial Services Department provides internal support services to all City Departments and Offices. Finance is responsible for financial forecasting, issuing municipal bonds, general accounting, grants monitoring, preparation of financial reports, overseeing Hollywood's annual financial audit, managing and investing public funds, and revenue and expenditure analysis.

Treasury Services Division


Treasury handles many of the department’s direct services to the public, including customer payment processing, emergency alarm registration, lien searches and local business tax receipts. Treasury also oversees debt administration, revenue auditing, and receivables. The Treasury Division is under the direction of the City Treasurer who can be reached at

General Accounting Division


General Accounting supervises the City’s annual external audit and issues the City’s audited Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

For 41 consecutive years, Finance has received the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.

The General Accounting Division also handles vendor accounts payable matters.

Procurement & Contract Compliance Division

The Office of Procurement Services is dedicated to providing quality support to City of Hollywood departments and suppliers. Our goal is to make the best investment of public resources through the proper purchase of goods, materials and services at the best value, consistent with the quality needed to provide the best service to Hollywood residents and visitors.

We strive to maintain the highest ethical and legal standards to ensure a fair, transparent and progressive procurement process. We remain flexible and innovative in our approach to purchasing through best practice purchasing methods that promote cost savings and improve operational efficiency. 

Additionally, Procurement Services is responsible for the distribution, sale and/or disposal of surplus goods and materials.
