Weekday Courses (Evenings 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM & 7:00 PM): Eight (8) classes, Forty-five (45) minute classes. (Total of 6 hours)

Weekend Courses (Mornings: 10:00 AM & 11:00 AM): Six (6) classes, One (1) Hour classes. (Total of 6 hours)

- No Refunds or Transferring of swim lesson sessions. (In the case of medical reason, refunds or transfers are only approved with proper documentation; a doctor's note and letter requesting the cancellation, refund or transfer of a swim lesson course must be presented to aquatic management to proceed with request.)
- The Learn-to-Swim Program runs on an open calendar. Follow-up courses are not reserved for participants currently enrolled in courses. Participants may only be registered for one course at a time.
- Classes which fall on an observed holidays will be rescheduled at the end of the course schedule.
- Participants and their parent and/or guardian must complete the City of Hollywood's "Aquatic Registration Form" and sign the "Waiver and Release of Liability" form in order to complete the registration process. Participants will not be able to participate in the program until all forms are completed appropriately.
All City of Hollywood Community Centers, Parks & Pools are equipped with the Thor Guard System. Thor Guard lightning prediction systems are designed to predict lightning around a five (5) mile radius area BEFORE lightning strikes, allowing decisions regarding dangerous situations to be proactive, not reactive.
- If inclement weather is on the horizon, parents are urged to call Driftwood Community Pool at 954.967.4644, 30 minutes before the start of your class to inquire on the operational status of the facility.

- The child must be between the ages of 6 months and 8 years old.
- Each child will need their own coupon and may only receive one coupon per year.
- Coupons are available only to Broward County Residents.

Parent & Child
Ages: 6 months through 3 years young swim lessons
*An adult must enter into the water with the child.*
Developed for children 6 months to 3 years, Parent and Child Aquatics helps young children get ready to swim by emphasizing fun in the water. Parents and children participate in several guided practice sessions that help kids learn elementary swimming skills, including water entry, bubble blowing, front kicking, back floating, underwater exploration and more.
Learn-to-Swim
Beginners Level 1 through Level 4 & Adults
Ages: 6 years - Adults
Designed for children over 6 years old through adults. Students progress through the levels at their own pace, mastering the skills in one level before advancing to the next. Each level of our Learn-to-Swim class includes training in basic water safety and helping others in an emergency, in addition to stroke development.

Each child is unique and have unique needs. As they grow and develop, their minds and bodies respond in many different ways. One place that all children can learn and grow is in the water. Teaching a child to swim can be fun and educational. The Adaptive Aquatic Program is focused on children with special needs; whether developmental or physical disabilities to meet their one-on-one needs. An adult must enter the water with child.
