The City's Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are administered by the  P&A Group. For more information, contact customer Services at 1-800-688-2611.

Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA)

The City of Hollywood contributes funds annually to eligible employees' HRA accounts.  These funds are available on a "use it or lose it" basis, to be used for IRS-approved healthcare expenses that are not reimbursed. Funds are normally available on January 1 and expire on December 31 of the same calendar year. Unused amounts will not be carried forward. Fund amounts correspond to medical enrollment tier: Employee Only = $400, Employee +1 = $600, Employee + Family = $1,000.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Eligible employees can also participate in the City's 125 Flexible Spending Plan, a way to set aside a portion of pre-taxed dollars to pay for qualifying out-of-pocket healthcare expenses or dependent care. These funds are elected during Open Enrollment or upon hire; they, too, expire on December 31 and are subject to a "use it or lose it" basis. Unused amounts will not be carried forward.

The maximum annual benefit amount that an employee may currently elect for Dependent Care FSA is $5,000. The maximum annual benefit amount an employee may currently elect for Healthcare FSA is $2,850 (i.e. for unreimbursed medical, prescription, and dental co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance).
