Overview
The Hollywood Fire Rescue and Beach Safety Training Facility located at 3400 N 56th Ave. is recognized as a state training facility. More than 90% of all department training is in-house, and performed at this facility.
The training staff consists of one Battalion Chief and two Training officers, that are Florida State Fire Instructor III certified, the highest level recognized by the state.
Classes are delivered to personnel during their 24-hour shift and consist of:
- Firefighting Professional Standards
- EMT and Paramedic Re-certifications
